That is funny, and perhaps an equal reaction to the pay-for-play politics. I personally think the AG Bob Ferguson would be a terrible choice, for numberous reasons. He is all for government gaining more power over its citizens, defunding police, forced vaccines, woke policies and numberous other fallacies he and Inslee have made.
You and I are in complete agreement about AG Ferguson. He would not serve our State well. Indeed, I imagine that we would all be wishing that we had the current Governor back.
But, we must beat him with ideas, and work, and money. Beating him due to a trick is something one might expect from a near failed state, not from the United States.
My reaction was the same as yours. A chuckle and then "how on earth are we going to figure out who we are voting for. It did not to the research or fact checking to realize it was a scheme and just who was behind that scheme. Creative, but not without risks. Politicians have VERY LONG memories when they feel they have been wronged.
-The two extra Bobs will decide it's dumb and withdraw. This State does allow a candidate to withdraw in a short time period.
-It will be discovered that the extra Bobs didn't really know what they were agreeing to and claim that their names were added in a somewhat fraudulent way, resulting in their removal somehow.
-The Secretary of State will figure out some way to differentiate between the three Bobs. But I still have to believe that some people would be confused when it came time to mark their ballots.
This is just one more sign of the extremely polarized times we are living in. Hopefully society can right the ship before things get any worse.

Well, following up, this was short lived as the attorney general threatened his opponents with 10 years of prison for running against him.
Yep, they dropped out today. Which was the right thing for them to do.
But he did himself no favors threatening them. That made him look like a bully. For those who vote that way, Senator Mullet is a far better choice.
